Eltek Systems rebrands to Actemium and relocates to larger facility

The transformation reflects the strength of the Actemium brand — one of the UK’s largest providers of electrical, automation and mechanical solutions for industry and beyond, with 635 staff across 20 UK locations. It is part of a further network of 27,000 employees in over 440 specialist business units around the world.

After joining Actemium in 2020, Eltek Systems continued to operate under its original name. Now, five years on, the company has fully adopted the Actemium brand, joining the other Actemium business units serving key sectors, including food & beverage, automotive, e-Mobility, water, oil & gas, nuclear, chemical, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing.

Founded in 1983, Eltek Systems has built a strong reputation for its expertise in systems integration, control panel manufacturing, and electrical installation. Now branded as Actemium Automation Peterborough, it will continue to serve major global players in the food and beverage sector, including PepsiCo and McCain Foods, and other industrial clients.

Speaking to staff and guests at the official unveiling ceremony at the new premises, Rob Shaw, Perimeter Director at Actemium, said: “It has been a privilege to watch Eltek Systems evolve over the past five years, expanding its capabilities, strengthening its reputation, and building closer collaboration with sister companies across the Actemium network.

The business’s relocation from Oundle to Peterborough provides it with the infrastructure needed to support growing demand from customers. The new facility includes a significantly larger workshop, critical for the design and build of complex control systems, expanded offices and additional meeting rooms.
