Actemium UK awarded three-year framework agreement by Guernsey Water
Actemium UK, a leading UK provider of engineered electrical, automation and mechanical solutions, has secured a three-year agreement valued at £500,000 to be Guernsey Water’s preferred systems integrator.

The partnership, which targets upgrading and future proofing automation systems at the utility company and is a part a wider £130 million investment programme, marks another milestone in Actemium UK’s continued growth in the water sector.
The initiative will strengthen Guernsey Water’s operations, making them more efficient, resilient and self-sufficient while ensuring safe, reliable service for 27,000 customers.
Drawing from their extensive experience in water and wastewater facilities, Actemium UK’s engineers will work closely with Guernsey Water’s team to modernise their automation systems, leveraging the latest technological advancements within the industry. The result will be a more resilient network that is standardised across the board. Actemium will also provide Guernsey Water’s operational engineers with tailored training, upskilling them to take on full control of the enhanced systems.
The framework – which commenced recently – will start with Guernsey Water’s priority sites and will include upgrading existing control systems, SCADA enhancements, OT consultancy, and 24/7 support. Actemium will work closely with SolutionsPT to deliver AVEVA software solutions as a Certified AVEVA Systems Integrator and Certified Alliance Integrator Partner with Schneider Electric’s global program. Following on from this, Actemium UK’s engineers will create and implement additional system enhancements requested by Guernsey Water.
Actemium UK was selected through a rigorous tender process, meeting Guernsey Water’s stringent requirements, such as technical expertise across supplier platforms, project management capabilities, sustainability credentials, and a robust strategy for stakeholder involvement.
Guernsey Water’s Operations Manager, Jon Holt, said: “We’re embarking on a 12-year, £130m investment to renew and enhance our critical infrastructure.
