Actemium Wins RoSPA Gold Award for Fifth Year Running!

For the fifth year running, our Health & Safety Team has won the RoSPA Gold Award which has landed them the prestigious RoSPA Gold Medal Award! Actemium UK received this internationally-recognised award for demonstrating high health and safety standards by working hard throughout 2020 to ensure its staff, customers, clients and contractors all got home safely to their families at the end of every working day.

Organisations receiving a RoSPA Award are recognised as being world-leaders in health and safety practice. Every year, nearly 2,000 entrants vie to achieve the highest possible accolade in what is the UK’s longest-running H&S industry awards.

Celebrating their win, Marcus Allen, Actemium EHS Manager, said:

“It is such a fantastic achievement that the business continues to maintain such high safety standards, in what has been a tough time during the covid pandemic. We are delighted to have received the RoSPA Gold Medal Health & Safety Award. Winning the Gold Award for the fifth year running, firmly demonstrates Actemium’s ongoing commitment to raising health and safety standards and ensuring that performance levels are high throughout our organisation. The safety of our people is paramount, and this award is as a result of a real team effort demonstrated by everyone.”

Julia Small, RoSPA’s Achievements Director, said: “The RoSPA Awards scheme is the longest-running of its kind in the UK, but it receives entries from organisations across the globe, making it one of the most sought-after achievement awards for health and safety worldwide. RoSPA is very proud of the achievements of its entrants, and with this award we recognise the best of the best, those organisations that have gone the extra mile, raising the bar for the delivery of safety in the workplace.”

Our team will be able to celebrate their success at the RoSPA live Virtual Awards Ceremony which is being held on Thursday 9 September 2021 at 13:00, where the host will be broadcaster and journalist Ed James, and with fund raising activities going towards RoSPA’s Keeping Kids Safe campaign.

We already know they are outstanding, but here’s to another successful year for our gold medal winning Health & Safety team!
