    Expanding ultra-rapid charging at Moto Exeter

    Actemium UK has delivered the electrical and civil infrastructure for a new 24-bay Moto CHARGE ultra-rapid EV hub at Moto Exeter, one of the UK’s largest motorway charging destinations. Acting as Principal Contractor, Actemium completed the EV installation, including 12 ABB A400 chargers, a new 2 MVA substation, low-voltage distribution, feeder pillars and communications, alongside commissioning and ongoing maintenance support. Handed over on time following a 12-week onsite programme, the new hub was ready ahead of the busy summer holiday period, increasing ultra-rapid charging capacity for motorists travelling towards Devon and Cornwall and supporting the reliable, long-term operation of the motorway service area.

    Acting as Principal Contractor, Actemium UK advised, designed and delivered the end-to-end power and electrical infrastructure for a major new EV superhub at Moto Tamworth, one of the largest developments of its kind in the UK. Working with Moto Hospitality and GRIDSERVE at Junction 10 of the M42, Actemium combined its ICP, high-voltage electrical engineering, civil engineering and project delivery expertise to provide the capacity required for large-scale passenger and commercial EV charging.

Across two West Yorkshire sites, the projects focused on Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) screens and detention tanks-critical assets that protect receiving watercourses during heavy rainfall events.
