Introduction
Food Industry
Wombourne Site
The McCain Foods' site is a typical secondary food processing plant where both hygiene and productivity levels are paramount.
At present, we are currently working on several three year projects, covering the test and inspection of the whole site electrical system to BS7671 standards. The scope also includes the maintenance of the 11kv high voltage infrastructure for which we also undertake any necessary reinforcement works.
With the plant operating on a 24/7 basis detailed planning with the client is critical in ensuring continuity of supply to production processes, and that any power outages needed are minimised and managed as planned events
Education
Whether working on an active school or university site during term time, or working to compressed programmes during holidays, Actemium's project management skills are constantly brought into play to ensure minimal disruption to academic activities.
Secure and cordoned-off working areas, together with site cleanliness, are priorities in ensuring that a safe environment is maintained for students and staff at all times. Equally important, and to maintain compliance with Home Office guidelines for child safety, all our on-site teams are CRB vetted and approved before working at any premises where young persons are present
Building Complexes
Electrical Infrastructure UpgradeThe West Bromwich Building Society is one of the largest mutual societies in the UK. This project was undertaken at their Head Office where continuity of electrical supply is of paramount importance.
Appointed as main contractors, Actemium undertook the upgrade of the electrical infrastructure including LV panels, new mains cabling and containment systems for UPS circuits, and essential and non essential circuits, together with the supply and installation of parallel N + 1 UPS systems.
All work was undertaken whilst maintaining supply integrity and transition to the new system was achieved without any disruption in day to day business
